What Is Pre-Purchase Inspection?

A pre-purchase inspection is a full health check on a car you're considering buying: complete module scan for stored faults, lift inspection of the underbody, suspension, and any accident evidence, fluid condition checks, test drive, and a paint meter over every panel. On BMWs and Porsches we specifically check the known weak points for that chassis and engine — rod bearings on certain M cars, bore scoring on certain flat-sixes, crank hubs, VANOS, cooling system age. You get a written rundown with photos and repair estimates.
